I spent my life trying NOT to be defined by the events described in this story. I have worked as a photographer, an artist and a computer programmer. I married a good and caring woman who encouraged me to avoid psychic experiences if possible just as my psychiatrist had suggested – like an alcoholic must avoid drink. But now that both of them have died and I am looking back over my life I realize that what you do not talk about defines you every bit as much as what you do. A dry drunk is still a drunk. It is not that I am ashamed of the psychic gift I had on occasions during those years. Psychic abilities connect you to every place, everything, every time and everyone but the irony is that nothing else separates you so completely from the people in your life. When I demonstrated my ability I found disbelief, suspicion and fear. So I decided to avoid psychic experiences and keep it all a secret accept from a chosen few. I broke my silence and am telling this story because I hope this story will be of value to those who have psychic abilities and have not been accepted, and those who have friends and relatives with psychic ability and have not accepted them or understood them. Some secret events are benign and some are toxic and some benign events become a toxic conspiracy when they are kept secret by to many people. At some point the two different groups develop a different reality and so they cannot communicate.
